Forced to choose between his girlfriend and his annual pilgrimage to the Wisconsin High School Hockey Tournament, he picks the latter.

Accompanied by an 18-year-old protégé and three out-of-state former teammates, Owen sets off in a recently procured laundry truck to take in the splendor and glory that is the Dairyland’s annual tournament of champions.

As the road trip proceeds toward the final championship game in Madison, the men face a wide array of obstacles: Gout-inflamed toes. Work crises. Strained marriages. And, worst of all, a mysterious black pickup truck that seems to be stalking them.

One by one, friends drop out, leaving our hero to face some hard truths about his bizarre obsession.
