Jim Gaffigan (Owen Fenby)
Raised in Indiana, Jim made the move to New York City in pursuit of a career in acting and stand up comedy. After the first of five appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Mr. Letterman personally chose Jim to develop a sitcom for his production company, World Wide Pants.
A year and half later, Welcome to New York debuted to critical acclaim, boasting a cast of Christine Baranski, Rocky Carroll, and Sara Gilbert. The Wall Street Journal declared Jim "a true find" and TV Guide nominated Jim for Best New Actor in a Sitcom Award. He followed that success with another audience-pleasing stint as Rusty Carnouk, Ellen DeGeneres ex-boyfriend on The Ellen Show.
Jim has also guest starred on many other network and cable television shows, including Law & Order, Third Watch, Lateline, Sex in the City, Law and Order: SVU, Soul Man, and Conrad Bloom. Jim was also a cast member of the VH1 sketch show Random Play. In addition to No Sleep til Madison, his film credits include Igby Goes Down, Hacks, Three Kings, Road Trip, Endsville, Personals, and Entropy. Jim also appeared in two films chosen for the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, Super Troopers and Thirty Years to Life.
Many people recognize Jim from his numerous commercial campaigns, which include ads for ESPN, Saturn, and Rolling Rock beer. In 1999, Business Week recognized Jims considerable commercial presence by naming him "Salesman of The Year."
As a stand up comedian, Jim's cutting edge style has earned him appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and Comedy Central's Dr. Katz. Jim performed his own half-hour comedy special for Comedy Central, and has also performed at the prestigious HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, as well as the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal.

T.J. Jagodowski has quietly earned a reputation as one of Chicagos finest improv performers. He has been featured in major productions for The Second Citys Mainstage, The Second City National Touring Company, ImprovOlympic, and the Annoyance Theatre.
His many talents were recently recognized at the 2001 Del Awards, where he walked away with an unprecedented three honors, including Most Impressive Reference, Most Supportive Player, and, to no ones surprise, Sexiest Male Player.
In addition to his starring role in No Sleep, T.J. has appeared in several movies, including Soul Survivors and Janey Van Winkle.
During agonizingly long delays on the set of No Sleep, T.J. delighted both cast and crew with impersonations of a Southern land baron and, with Jed Resnik, a lost Russian cosmonaut.

Throughout production of No Sleep, Ian displayed remarkable self-discipline by using his limited free time to study for his finals, despite constant harassment from his fellow cast members. Ian also developed a reputation for spectacular, unplanned pratfalls on-camera, one of which is preserved in the films final scene.
Jed Resnik (Vern)
Now residing in New York City, Resniks acting and writing career has included stints at Chicago's Second City Communications, Annoyance Productions, and ImprovOlympic. His Chicago stage appearances include Apocalypse at Victory Gardens, JTS Brown at ImprovOlympic, and The Hart Karl at Comedysportz. Resnik recently flew to Los Angeles to screen-test for a Carsey/Werner pilot and Steve Martins sketch comedy show, and recently appeared in Bob Odenkirk's Melvin Goes to Dinner.
Jed wants everyone to know his experiences making No Sleep til Madison were positive. Even the horrible car crash.
